Meet the Family Behind Sayang Photography

Welcome to Sayang Photography.

If you are looking at my website, there’s a pretty good chance you’re expecting or you’ve just had your bundle of joy. Congratulations, and welcome to the wonderful and exciting journey of parenthood.

My name is Rahimah. I’m a mum,  medical scientist and also a photographer. I’m a mum of two beautiful, cheeky and extremely busy little girls, and when they were born I didn’t want to miss a single little thing. I’m one of those mums who captures everything, especially all the milestones, even if it was little I didn’t miss it. I would even capture moments when they didn’t realize I was there and of course all the moments where they were sleeping or had cuddle time with their father and other family members. Every picture I’ve captured says a little story; stories creating memories which will last a life time. When I look back at those pictures, instantly I smile and it gives me a warm feeling and I’m taken back to that moment in time. Sayang Photography is driven by a passion to capture memories for my family which we can cherish for a life time and now I capture those memories for all new families and their babies and children.

I love what I do, but what I love the most is meeting the couples who are excited and nervously waiting for their bundle of joy to be born as the they talk about how many more weeks they have left till the baby arrives. The first time family with their precious bundle of joy, the amount of love that radiates from the family is enough to make my heart melt and also hearing the journey they went through to have their little miracles. The little toddlers I meet and I get to talk to & who reminds me on how cool it is to be a kid, and are always filling my studio with lots of smiles and laughter.
